Our workshops are created with more than just the end result in mind, we use a combination of traditional and cutting edge learning approaches to ensure the delegates enjoy the process and are thoroughly stimulated throughout. Wherever appropriate we use experiential learning, a technique based on “learning by doing”, with links to theory, reflection and behavioural changes. Not only is this a highly effective technique, the delegates retain the information for far longer, ensuring greater value for our clients. Company History

Key Consultants Ltd was formed in 1983 by Susan Lock who previously worked for British Airways. Key quickly acquired prestigious contracts with British Nuclear Fuels and Mobil Oil through the ability to deliver the leading edge benefits of Behaviour Analysis as developed by Rackham and Morgan. Some of these contracts continued until the 1990‘s, although the programmes developed and changed significantly. Several other trainers from British Airways joined the team of Key maintaining this edge in harnessing the best of new management thinking and combining it with more traditional, proven ideas and techniques to design and deliver dynamic, effective development to individuals and organisations.

Key has retained consultants from those early days and supplemented them with new members who share the team's values and standards, and have brought new approaches.The majority of the Key team are qualified as NLP practitioners, MBTI qualified and have first or masters degrees. Working in close partnership with major clients, such as British Nuclear Fuels, McCain Foods, SAS and Nortel Networks, Key Consultants developed programmes that genuinely addressed the needs of the organisation, while meeting the unique and personal needs of leaders and managers. Many of the practices developed on these programmes were adopted to produce a highly successful leadership and change programme for Cumbria County Council Contract Services. As they approach their 25th Anniversary, Key Consultants continues to share this wealth of experience with a wide range of organisations.
