Managing Director, Susan Lock, has immersed herself in Training and Development since 1983 when she founded Key Consultants. Susan has been a life long learner and has an MA in Management Learning from Lancaster University, qualifications in NLP, Life Skills Coaching, psychometric testing and is a Member of the CIPD. Susan’s particular interests are in developing leaders and managers through the generation of a greater awareness of their personality and communication preferences and their interpersonal skills. Her training and development experience has taken her across Europe and most recently to Scandinavia, Bangkok, Beijing, New York and Russia. Prior to forming Key Consultants Susan was employed by British Airways as a Trainer then moved into Industrial Relations and finished her career with the airline as Personnel Manager for Flight Crew. Susan is married with a son, a stepson and stepdaughter. In her spare time Susan is an avid reader and also spends time gardening and in the gym. |
Steve Goodwill has been a trainer and consultant for over twenty years, specialising in the development of interpersonal skills such as Leadership, Influencing, Team Working, Negotiations and Problem Solving. Steve has worked with all levels of Management from Board members to Supervisors and with front line operators. He has worked with a variety of companies and with the NHS and other public organisations, in the UK, Europe and the Far East. His career has included commissioned service in the Royal Marines, Development Training, Systems Consultancy and Operations Management. Steve has developed a number of long term modular programmes with some major organisations, where the "little and often" approach to learning has proved very effective. He is particularly interested in the effective and ethical uses of the outdoors in development training, has written two books on the subject, and continues to facilitate programmes using this powerful medium. A great tool for breaking down barriers - be they personal, cultural or organisational. In his spare time he enjoys family time, outdoor activities and coaching rugby. |
Liz Gibson has been a Learning & Development Consultant for over 25 years and prior to that she worked for British Airways in Training & Development. Her professional qualifications include Chartered MCIPD, Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), qualified practitioner of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and a Diploma in Business Coaching. Liz provides training services from training needs analysis, through design and delivery, to on-going support and coaching of programmes. Her main emphasis is on interpersonal skills training for Management and Personal Development. Liz is married with two children and in her spare time enjoys singing and performing in musicals, playing her clarinet in a local band, sailing, playing golf and acting as crew for a Tiger Moth operation. |
Pauline Graystone has worked as a management consultant for over 20 years in both the public and private sector. Her background was in Human Resources where she managed the HR function for a major telecommunications organisation before specialising in training and management development. During this time she also studied for an MBA at Henley. Her training and development experience has taken her across Europe and the US. Most recently she has been training in the European institutions in Brussels and for a major manufacturer in the UK. She focuses mainly on Communication skills. She runs courses on Presentation skills, Assertiveness, Influencing and teambuilding. She also specialises on assessment and development having designed and run assessment centres for managers of future potential. She is married, lives near Brussels and has two children.... |
Hilary Harrison has been training for fifteen years, after seven years in senior management, including running a government business unit of over 100 staff. She has considerable hands-on experience of staff management, encompassing extensive work in the areas of recruitment, appraisal and discipline. Hilary contributed the chapter on ‘Stress’ to the latest edition of Ken & Kate Back’s book, Assertiveness at Work. |
Annelise Cruickshank, has worked as a management and HR Consultant for the last 15 years. Her particular interests lie in the assessment and development of individuals and teams in organisations going through the change process and in the design of selection methods and assessment tools that are valid and efficient. More recently she has also been working as a business and executive coach Annelise’s educational background is in Business Studies and Human Resource Management and she is currently undertaking a Masters Degree in Coaching and Development. Her early organisational experience was in the Health Service, where she worked in both HR and line management roles. In the commercial sector, she has experience in the Health, Employment Agency, Financial Services, Travel and has specialised in the Airline Sector for over 17 years. Previous career history includes British Airways where she was a Recruitment Manager, and experience as managing partner of a recruitment consultancy specialising in travel sector recruitment. Annelise has participated in a number of Government Strategic Development Committees and was heavily involved in setting performance standards for the Airline Industry in the development of NVQ’s. |
Richard West's initial career was with British Airways where his last two roles were Ground Services Training Manager and then Head of Customer Relations. Since 1992, he has been involved in the design and delivery of a wide range of Management and Supervisory training across both Public and Private sector organisations. Richard specialises in performance management, including appraisal.coaching and writing skills. Richard holds an MBA from Bath University and a Diploma in Management Studies. |
Helen Isacke is an experienced Performance Coach and NLP Practitioner, she specialises in helping professionals to develop new, more effective and empowering ways to communicate. |
